Rule set

Protect donors. Protect households.

Rules enforce fairness, safety, and a primary residence outcome.

The One and Done Household Rule

Lifetime limit

One grant per person or household, per lifetime.

The family ban

If an adult was part of a funded household, that adult stays ineligible for life.

The age out exception

Children who were minors in a funded home may apply as adults after one year verifiable income and a 24 month clean history. No adult from the childhood funded home participates in the new application.

The Anti Flip and Anti Rental Clause

Deed restriction

Closing documents include a right of reversion or a grant lien tied to primary residence status.

Repayment trigger

If the home is sold or converted to a rental inside the restricted window, the grant repays to the General Pot.

Monitoring

The platform runs an annual automated check on property tax records and homestead exemption status to confirm occupancy.

Enforcement goal

Donor funds support stable housing. The rules block profit seeking behavior during the restriction window.
